Hi,
First of all thanks to the creator of Project Caurosell for the fantastic job. I am new to c64 Maxi and Project Caurosell. I have been reading and searching but my problem persists:
1. Can't add joystick - I have a Hori Nintendo Switch USB gamepad and i tried to add it in. Not sure if i am doing something wrong:
a. From Windows PC: Go to PCUAE\Caurosell_Games\Options\Controllers\SDL_2_Gamepad-Tool - Add a controller and joystick
b. run the gamepad-tool.exe. Configured everything and get a string which i copied to the buffer.
c. go to PCUAE\Caurosell_Games\Options\Controllers\gamecontrollerdb.txt and paste in the following string at the bottom of the file.
030000000d0f0000dc00000001010000,SuperSmashBros,a:b0,b:b2,x:b1,y:b3,back:b6,start:b7,leftstick:b8,rightstick:b9,leftshoulder:a2 ,rightshoulder:a5,dpup:h0.1,dpdown:h0.4,dpleft:h0.8,dpright:h0.2,leftx:a0,lefty:a1,rightx:a3,righty:a4,lefttrigger:b4,righttrigger:b5,platf orm:Linux,
Note the last eight digit was originally 00007801 , but that didn't work either and i use 01010000 as i read it needs to be change to this.
d. Took the thumbdrive and plug it into thec64. Runs the Project Caurosell, only thec64 joystick is working. I have also tried plugging in a DS4 and Xbox360 controller. Nothing works.
2. I can't change the caurosell other than the default favorite 1. What i did was:
a. Export all the games to PCUAE\Caurosel_Games\Games . So there are 4 folders here.
- C64_0_to_G
- C64_H_to_R
- C64_S_to_Z
- Favorites_1
b. I have also copied the Favorites_1 folder to the root \Games folder. (Before that it can't start and boots back to thec64 default firmware, after i have copied, it manages to boot to PCUA and can see a "Favorites_1" on the screen in the middle. If i click on this, it goes to Classic Mode. Is this suppose to happens?).
c. On thec64, i pressed CTRL+F1 to get to the Caurosell Gamelist Changer. All i see is the default "Favorites 1" on the top left while all the other boxes are just plain back, hence there is nothing to change to except "Favorites_1".
What did i do wrong here???
