It's absolutely NOT cool copying single files to USB-Sticks all the time an does NOT feel like it's the 80s again. But here is a little advice how to get back the real feeling:
Step 1:
Buy some hundred industrial MMC Cards for... well... almost nothing. These come from eBay and were some Eurocent a piece:
Step 2:
Print some fancy covers for each Game:
Step 3:
Use a powered USB Hub, an old SD Card Reader as Fake-1541 and start swapping Disks as you did when you were 8 years old.
So you can take as long as you want to for your new firmware... I do not need it anymore
