I'm trying to track down the name of a game I'm pretty sure I typed in from a magazine for the C64. It was surprisingly a pretty good game that if I remember right involved people jumping from a building and you moved two fireman with a sheet around trying to catch them. If anybody remembers this game please post the name of it. Thx.

Yep think that's it! Thx. It's odd how some of the games we enjoyed most were the more simple ones. There's another I'm trying to remember the name of that was a small text adventure. You were on a desert planet and only had a short amount of time to make it to a ship. I think I remember it had a sound playing in the background and the game might have been called something like memory alpha 5. I remember the game because it was one of the few text adventures I ever finished because it was such a short game.

I'll try to see if I can figure that one out as well. Having Gamebase64 on my phone and some good guessing I can find what folks might be talking about.

No that's not it. I remember it being a very short game. No graphics just text. I think you only had a short amount of time to find your way out of the desert because of either oxygen or a dust storm or something. Vaguely there might have also been wombats you might run into but you were shipwrecked on an alien planet. For some reason the name Red Planet or Memory Alpha keeps coming to mind but I could be wrong. I also think there was a constant sound effect in the background like a siren.
