I have downloaded all the necessary files and installed them on a USB SSD. The SSD can be seen by the TheC64, but when I got to the step where I have to update the firmware, it shows no firmware. The .bin file is on the SSD and can be seen when I view the drive on a PC Anyone know what's going on? Do I have to start over again and re-format the SSD and re-download all the files to try again?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks!

Is the SSD FAT32 formatted? Yes, I formatted the SSD as FAT32 - but I did it on my Chromebook and not on a PC (Win 10 didn't show FAT32 as an option for formating)

Is the SSD FAT32 formatted? Yes, I formatted the SSD as FAT32 - but I did it on my Chromebook and not on a PC (Win 10 didn't show FAT32 as an option for formating) It needs to be MBR partitioning and FAT32 filesystem - Chromebook probably formats it at GPT partitioning scheme and FAT32 filesystem. See this thread for a simple way on Windows to do this.

Our little TheC64 can do so much more! Who knew? Now I need to play around with it, add games, modes etc. Thanks!
