Greetings, As sometimes pondered by users of THEC64 and Mini, and mostly due to Protovision's 2005 shoot-em up Metal Dust, is it possible to emulate a C64+SuperCPU combo on this nifty device. There is a version of VICE 2.4 that does emulate the SuperCPU, and it would take some knowledge on the internal workings of THEC64 to emulate it. I suspect however that THEC64 Mini is not powerful enough to run this in a performant way, for instance, running at 50/60 FPS with no sound drift. THEC64 Classic however (wrongly referred to as the "Maxi") has beefier hardware. I discuss this further in my blog here -> shaunbebbington.blogspot.com/2022/02/thec64-and-supercpu-emulation.htmlRegards, Shaun.

wow have not seen you in a while, welcome back ... C64 SuperCPU does work in VICE Mode in PCUAE but it to slow, it probably need optimising, but I am not a code and only can do Linux scripting so would not know how to do that, I have looked at C code but it gibberish to me... I added it to show it could work, but it might need a hight SoC like A500 Mini has a H6, it might work on the A500 Mini. I guess it could work on the THEC64 Maxi, its called a Maxi cause Koch Media called it that on there website originally and so people know we are talking about the replica and not real hardware, some people call the real hardware the c64 too, I do and it matches Mini/Maxi, Small/Big... , they are calling the A500 Full Size the A500 Maxi already.
