Hi everyone,
Got my hands on a C64 mini recently and am loving it!
Been attempting for a week now to get THEC64-drive8.d64 files to work off a USB stick all to no avail.
Just keep getting "READONLY" message in BASIC when I type LOAD"$",8 then LIST.
It's like it's not recognizing the USB sticks at all... tried 6 different types of sticks and different brands (including new ones out of the box).
Just had a thought today though. I'm wondering if the USB Power Adapter I'm using isn't powerful enough (ie: not supplying enough Amps/Volts) to run both the C64 Mini and "power" the USB Stick.. is that such a thing?
The C64 Mini works great with the games built in, so no issue there.
Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
