Modes

Just a quick question?
I am on the latest v1.8.0b1 PCAUE but still using the modes from v1.7.4b8, do I need to upgrade the modes to the latest v1.7.6b8-update for any fixes or are they just build revision numbers to keep up with the latest install?

I was only checking as I have been making and addon for retroarch and didn't want to upload it on an earlier version 1.7.4b8 for it to cause problems with people on newer versions. This addon will bring additional games which uses playlists for arcade, 8 bit computers, console systems, some 16 bit and will make it more user friendly for controls ect.
I have had to make these playlists on PC as there just isn't enough memory to create them properly on the C64.
Playlists as below based on what is playable on the C64 Joystick and has approx. 6000 or more games.
All these have been tested on 1.70 but I have also had good success with 1.96.
Amstrad CPC, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Capcom, Konami, Colecovision, CPS1, CPS2, Famicom disk system, Game & Watch, Magnaxox Odyssey , Mame 2003 ( approx. 500 working games with sample and artwork) Master system, Megadrive scrolling shooters) MSX, MSX2, NEC Pc Engine, NEC Turbographix, NES, Snes -scrolling shooters, Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

I updated them to the latest version now, but only VICE Mode was changed, so RA Mode is the same as v1.7.4b8 so no need to update them, I just change them to the latest version, I will not always do that. The playlists sound cool...  |
