I think I moved them to USB://Carousel_Games/systeminfo
pcuae-network-usbnet.log
pcuae-network-if-nodriver-modules.log
pcuae-network-if-nodriver-interfaces.log
pcuae-network-if-nodriver-usbdevices.log They get automatically created in pcuae_network_mode.sh now if its sees there is no eth0 or wlan0
I wanted all log files in one folder.
So centar, you need to attach those 4 log files.

cont... The line for the DM9601 does exist in file 'modalias.txt' I have since tried reformatting the usb drive with SD formatter and overwrite installed PCUAE Manager 2.5.2 on a different PC (win 10) and reinstall PCUAE (ver 1.9.1b7) to the USB drive and Vice and tried again with the exact same problems. It can't be me...I've spent well over 20 hrs at this now 2 computers 3 network adaptors 2 diff USB keys 2 diff USB Hubs read and re read everything..... just at my wits end with it. There seems to be many errors in the network-usbnet.log file about not being able to open tmp files...

The usbnet.log is full of errors related to the directory where the modules are not existing, e.g.: /tmp/pcuae_network/bin/..//lib/modules/3.4.39: No such file or directory spannernick there's a typo in: Carousel_Games/Options/PCUAE_Network_Mode/bin/usbnet and Carousel_Games/Options/PCUAE_Network_Mode/start_pcuae_network_mode.sh
that is probably causing this? elif echo "$SYSTEMVERSION" | grep -q "shield"; then MOODEL="Mini"
should be elif echo "$SYSTEMVERSION" | grep -q "shield"; then MODEL="Mini"

I can see this in the log file.. depmod: ERROR: could not open directory /tmp/pcuae_network/bin/..//lib/modules/3.4.39: No such file or directory depmod: FATAL: could not search modules: No such file or directory What mode are you running it from PCUAE Mode, it needs to be in VICE Mode for it to work, I turned Network Mode off in PCUAE Mode cause it can not be used on the carousel so thats why it can not find `/tmp/pcuae_network/bin/` It a mistake I made, it should of enabled it when you ran Network Mode settings from PCUIAE Options Menu but I forget it needs `/tmp/pcuae_network/` so the error is my fault.. Run it from VICE Mode and its VICE Mode Config Menu (CTRL+F7) and it should work.

OK, cool, what about the misspelled MODEL in:
Carousel_Games/Options/PCUAE_Network_Mode/bin/usbnet
and
Carousel_Games/Options/PCUAE_Network_Mode/start_pcuae_network_mode.sh
Do they still need changing or ok to leave them alone?

I am using the exact same one, my problem is that option 3 in the network mode does not work on the Mini, there is some sort of error in the software that is preventing it from creating temp files that are needed... At 1st I thought it was me but after about 30 tries in many different ways with different hardware I can safely say that network mode does NOT work on the Mini. Waiting in anticipation for the creator or someone to find the solution because I really want this to work and is my ONLY interest in PCUAE.

Got term running and first go it connected to a BBS, asked me if I had full ascii color and I said yes and then all I got was scrambled characters like it was trying to make images but not talking correctly. Then other times I dial one and it tries and ends up failing with no carrier. Is there any settings in Striketerm I'm overlooking?

With the b8 and b9 updates now it seems that not only does the network mode not work but CTRL+0 to load striketerm doesn't work now on the NTSC Mini. The nonetwork log files are good except for this error: usb-> dm9601qf9700.ko modprobe: FATAL: Module dm9601qf9700 not found in directory /tmp/pcuae_network/bin/../Mini/lib/mo:v0FE6p9700d0101dc00dsc00dp00ic00isc00ip00 -> v0FE6p9700d v0FE6p9700d dules/3.4.39

Been playing this for a while and have success getting on to the BBS's. Takes a moment or two for Vice to realize there is an Internet connection but then I can connect no problem. Has anyone tried downloading files from a BBS yet? Been working with a Sysop trying to diagnose my problems, I'm thinking it's either not possible due to software issues (buggy?) Or maybe my unstable Internet connection because I had a mobile hotspot and live so far away from decent Internet.

Has anyone tested this on the (DIY 64) Orange Pi ethernet port? I have not, but if the driver(module) is there for it is should work too, I have to check it, hold on.... Does anyone already know if it works? If you're curious about it, I'll check it out.

It works for me, you just need the right USB Internet Adapter

So not with the original network adapter?

So not with the original network adapter? No, it is purely targeted at USB network adapters.

Okay, thank you. Then I will order a separate dongle. Always easy to have one.
