Just wondering, after installing the latest official firmware update, if somebody can post a simple step by step to install Project Carousel and various game packs for say the C64, Vic20, Amiga, and the 2600? All the rest of options I'd rather read up on at a later date. I just would rather get these things installed, how to get them up and running on the mini or maxi, and follow up on the rest of options later. Just want the needed steps short and sweet. I months ago installed Project Carousel and it wasn't a clear amount of steps back then, but it seems to have gotten even more so complicated now.
And btw please don't take this as criticism. I admire the work involved. I'm just suggesting it can get lost in the weeds a bit for some like me without dedicating hours of reading and trial and error. Even back probably a year ago when I first installed it I was confused by little things like multiple potential files to download at the link and wasn't real sure which one I was supposed to get. I just want simple and precise steps to download it, install various game packs, and how to launch them.

I agree. Not as simple as you think it's going to be.

Have you read the WIKI, I have updated it recently ... projectcarouselusb.online/help-2Make sure you install PCUAE Manager then install PCUAE from it(from PCUAE Tab) and then install the Modes from it as well, they are all in PCUAE Manager now.The game packs are the same as PCUAE you install them the same way as PCUAE, install them to your PCUAE USB stick, just click on them to start there setup and click browse and pick your USB stick with PCUAE on and then press install or extract button and it will copy them to it, after your finished installing stuff to the PCUAE USB stick then put the PCUAE USB stick in to your machine and run it from the fake update, more info about that in the WIKI now.
