Hello,
I want to switch the Joystick Port which is usually done by clicking at the right red and the left red botton on the TheC64Joystick. The problem is that I don't use this Joystick. I use a Speedlink Joystick which is working fine for me, so I don't have such buttons on my speedlink.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch the Joystick Port via TheC64 Max Keyboard ?

Hello,
I tried multiple time to get it working with the cjm file but it didn't work.
For example I have a game Popeye, the filename is popeye_(1993).d64. I created a new file with the name popeye_(1993).cjm with the followin content.
X:64,pal,driveicon J:2*:JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,,,,,,,,,
I also tried
X:64,pal,driveicon J:1:JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,,,,,,,,,
When I start the game I still have to use the joystick to switch the joystick port. Do you have any hint for me what I am doing wrong ?

You can not do it with the keyboard with the bultin firmware, only with a cjm file or by the red buttons on the back of THEC64 Joystick, if you want to swap joystick ports why not use THEC64 Joystick for the extra stuff like that and just use the Speedlink Joystick for games. You can swap joystick ports on the keyboard using CTRL and Left Arrow in TheCarousel v1.3.2 in PCUAE...

I know it's an older topic, but it's also possible with the keyboard. Press: Left SHIFT+← (hold)..now press M (hold) and now press A or B (switch ports)
