Hi there,
Does anybody added successfully crt including more than one disk image (for larger games) to the carousel ?
Way of Conversion from d64 to crt?
Is it possible for someone to make a guide.
Second question: The original the64 Epyx.crt is just one file, how do they do that.

Yes, I successfully added mayhem in monsterland as a .crt, just google where to get the .crt version, you set it up the same way as any other game.
I am struggling however, to get sams journey to work, no idea why.

I ask in a different way: How is it possible to add large games to the carousel that use two or three disk images? I used disk2easyflash and applied it on the game kaiser.d64. Adding and playing of the kaiser.crt.gz did work. I also tried to convert test drive or last Ninja. But that did not work, the results could not be started from the carousel. Crt's I found in the internet didn't work too.

Is actually this release: csdb.dk/release/?id=107705They modified it removing the selection menu and adding some code to select directly the games. If you look at the .tsg files of the four games you will find a strange I:1 or I:2 or I:3 etc... When you start one of the four games, the menu actually "poke" the number specified in "I:" at the address $0800, so some lines of modified codes check this number and starts the respective game. You can check by yourself mounting the epyx.crt from mini on VICE. |

I used the M2I Version for the SD2IEC, made a d64 Disk with Dirmaster (just open the M2I file with it). retro3000.com/download/SD2IEC_FILES+GAMES.zipLoaded Game into VICE and made a Snapshot with adding Disk File. In the tsg use X:64,pal,truedrive,sid6581 Without truedrive setting game wont work.    |

I see there is no general solution every game has to be adjusted and checked individually....
