And I'm not necessarily talking about the best games in terms of graphics, sound, or technical achievement. I'm simply asking what your favorite platform games are that you played a bunch back in the day because they were addictive. A few of mine:
Sammy Lightfoot, Load Runner, Jumpman, Montezuma's Revenge, Miner 2049er (there's also a new updated version), Mario,, Pharo's Curse (or was it Revenge or Castle?), Spelunker, ... All I can think of at the moment but I'm sure there's more.

Oh yes, Gianna Sisters was a great game. It's lucky that game saw the light of day cuz Nintendo sued them and it was immediately taken off the market. I don't see how Nintendo could say the game was a copyright infringement. There's tons of games that have similar platform style objectives.
I would guess Pitfall would qualify as a platform game as well as Hunchback. Both good games. Might be a stretch to say HERO is a platform game but it's also a favorite of mine.
