Hi all,
When I load Boulder Dash from a USB drive, I can't play the game.
I have load the game with and witout a usb keyboard with hub same problem.
I have tried different prg/d64 files same problem.
When you run BDI you will get first the screen with song, joystick will not respond just on the real C64.
You will have to first press F1 key then you get the menu screen to choose cave, level, players and joysticks.
Then you can push the fire button and the game will start, here is where it goes wrong....
When pressing F1 on keyboard or virtual keyboard the menu will come, but then you can't change the cave and level and also not start the game.
When pressing F3 on the virtual keyboard you can change 1 or 2 joystick and number of players.
But also on the virtual keyboard you have up down left right arrows, there is the problem also you can't change cave and level and start the game.
I know the game is on the mini it self but I wanted to test it that way and the result is disapointing, am I doing something wrong or is there some bug?
Also Boulder Dash II has the exact same problem.
I have tried Bubble Bobble from USB drive and no problems with the fire button press.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks,
Chiemsee
Try using run-stop on the virtual keyboard?
