C64C Faithful,
I am playing with THEC64 and the CJM files for Joystick setup.
Are there any test programs for joysticks (especially like TheC64;s) that also read the ALL the button presses too? I am looking to do quick tests of CJM file button mods.
Or maybe just the info on where and how button presses are read and stored...
Thanks in advance!

It depends a bit of what you mean. A good test program on THE64 is anykey. But you could just write a BASIC program to show keypresses and joystick movement as well.

What would be great is if they actually released a firmware update that includes a bunch more controllers that are popular, because this is one major flaw in the product. Controllers like the Gamesir 3GS, Logitech F310, Hyperkin Trooper II (Atari style joystick with 2 fire buttons and four more on the side for navigation), etc.
Short of that, it would be cool if everybody started posting text of their particular controller configuration they used to get it working and this was added to Project Carousel so chances are your controller is already supported.

A good test program on THE64 is anykey. AWESOME program, jj0 - thanks! Does just what I wanted. When I map a key to a joystick button - I can see the results. Perfect.
