This had to be one of my favorite games back on the c64. Took me a while but I was able to find a single disk version of it and works in carousel mode. I've come across several threads of people asking or trying to find this in a single disk version. Hope this helps those who are looking for it. 
The most annoying part of the game (yeah you know what I am talking about if you played it) was raising money to buy and upgrade your mech. Came across this article and gave it a shot. Couldn't find the address they were referencing to change the values. If someone can take a crack at this, it will start you off with 65535 C-Bills. Sure its cheating but hey if I had 65k c-bills it would make the game alot easier
Per the article:
The files G0 to G5 on the SECOND disk side are the SAVEGAMES (G0 = ONE, G1 = TWO, G2 = THREE, G3 = FOUR, G4 = FIVE, G5 = SIX). Open these with a disk monitor (e.g. "G0" for the score ONE) and just change the two byte starting from the hex address $058A to FF FF. The result: "Congratulations, your balance is now 65535 C-Bills." This is enough for an easy start of the game.re
