I know that TheC64 creates a "virtual disk" called THEC64-drive8 on a USB stick, for saving BASIC programs etc. I have learned that it works like an actual disk in many ways and how to rename, verify, save over (with new version), and scratch (delete) files.
I have created a second "virtual disk) on a pc and added it to my USB stick, with the name THEC64D2-drive8. It works and once mounted (selected) works the same way, but no new name appears on the directory.
Is there another way to do this?
Are there limitations on how many I could make?
What are the naming conventions?
Why can't I make a drive9 - like an old second device?
Is this covered anywhere in the documentation or on this forum!
HAPPY 2022, Happy C64-ing! and thanks for the help.

Do virtual disks really have the capacity listed (like actual disks). Does THEC64 make a new one if the old one is filled. Now that I know how to make a new one myself (and name or rename it - thanks to help from Cory Jacobs - TheC64 Mini, TheC64 And TheVIC20 Group - Facebook Group) - a few questions remain,
Could a virtual disk be designated like a second drive (9 for instance). This is easy to work around since all disks are accessible by mounting and remounting the next. Do the old naming limits apply (I think 16 character limit). How many "disks" might be used on a single stick - not capacity wise - but functionally?
I know these questions and their answers may just have to be addressed by trial and error - but do others here already know?
