(I use a translator so hopefully I can communicate well enough in English.) Hello people, first of all, thank you very much for the admission.
I recently bought the c64 Maxi. In addition two db9 usb adapters... I really wanted to play with my old db9 joysticks (SIGMA, Quickshot). Both still work because I tested both on my old c64. Does anyone know these adapters? aJoy adapter works fine on linux etc. But not on the C64 Maxi. The white c64 mini adapter does not work at all and the manufacturer is on vacation. Maybe someone knows the white mini adapter? Are there any tools, updates, or even running on the c64 Maxi? For feedback, a little help, I would be really grateful ...

I picked up the ICode adapter because it has extra buttons on the box for GUI navigation and works with Atari joysticks, paddles, or the Atari trackball. In fact he just posted a video of using a Atari trackball with it.
It works great on RetroPie and other platforms but unfortunately I haven't gotten it to work yet with the mini. Well, I did get it somewhat working but need to tweak the config file on the mini more. I haven't updated the ICode firmware yet so maybe just doing that will even get it working.

As starting point: - look here on how to get the GUID information for these adapters.
- look here on how to use the SDL2 Gamepad tool (ignore the text about the GUID as you already get that in step 1) to create the proper string to use in gamecontrollerdb.txt.
- then add the string to the gamecontrolelrdb.txt
You can do all this via PCUAE as described in point 1.

I am very sorry. I have only just seen that the two photos that I have inserted cannot be seen at all. Do the two links work with the photo?
