I hope soon, now that I have fixed all the bugs in the latest version of PCUAE, will be making an install video for PCUAE(alot of stuff I want to do but not enough time in the day to do it.. ), I have partly made it but never had time to finish it, its on my phone so will need to be edited first, hopefully finish it tomorrow so be on you tube tomorrow or next day. I have finish the install part of the video, how you install PCUAE, about its Modes and PCUAE Manager, just need to video PCUAE, to show how to do this and that in it, and how it reacts and what to aspect if you load a mode or enable something in it and how PCUAE will act if its enabled. if you have a problem with a feature in PCUAE, post here if you want me to cover it in PCUAE in the video, I will need to know by tomorrow(02.01.2022) the latest...

I think a good idea would be to first just show people how to quickly install Project Carousel and the game packs, because that's what most people are going to want to do. The other stuff such as launching emulators or using the Game Manager is something less people will be doing, or at least not right away until they've got that done. Also a bit of exploration of say adding Vic20 game packs and how to access them on the maxi versus the mini since you can't just launch them from the carousel on the mini. And of course how to bring up the game packs on the carousel, etc.

Hmm do I install windows Java inside wine ? Or use the java in Mint ? Tried both. I get the manager 2.5.2 running in Linux via Linux Java but troubles importing games from gamebase. I got a error message about too old java class version 52 1-8u333 :-(

I got a error message about too old java class version 52 1-8u333 :-( Hmm I now get: $ java -jar PcuGameManager.exe Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class se.lantz.PCUGameManager java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: se/lantz/PCUGameManager has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 58.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 55.0
Weird, it used to work. Using wine it still works, I have Oracle Java jre1.8.0_281 installed.

Weird, it used to work. Using wine it still works, I have Oracle Java jre1.8.0_281 installed. I think you need a later java version, I used java 14 when developing the manager. That or a later version should work I think.

I got a error message about too old java class version 52 1-8u333 :-( You run the PCUAEManager.exe, make sure you have the whole of it in a folder, it has java with it, Wine will use that, like if you were running it in Windows, so just install it to a folder then run PCUAEManager.exe and make sure its linked it to Wine so Wine opens it(what app you want to open it with) and it should load, it works on Linux Mint. This is old PCU Game Manager but it should work with the PCUAE Manager too... Make sure Wine is installed... If your wondering thats CommodoreOS v1.6 64bit so I still use it but never finished it, it's a customised version of Linux Mini, I might finish it one day when I get time.

I am sorry to ask this, but there has been mention of a full border mode, that is also in the pcuae options, but it is not available. This would realy be a treat, because the borders at the bottom and top are being cut off. In some games and also disk mags, graphical elements disappear. How can I activate it?
