Initial Release of the idea 02.2019
Added - Games from USB that overmounted the Carousel games from within the firmware - Faberfox
Changed name from Adding Games to the Firmware from USB to Project Carousel USB - spannernick
Changed the menu.wav file that played only one tune(Matt Grey) to 8 different C64 SID tunes and added Fade in and out to each tune, PCUAE only had one screen at the time - spannernick
Added - Folders to Games so you could switch using a Fake Update to change Carousel Gamelist Screens, - spannernick
Added - Different soundtracks to each Carousel Gamelist Screen so they played they own wav file so its was not the same music playing all the time, made 4 different wav sound files about 17 minutes long of C64 SID Tunes, the 5th wav file was music made by Boray - spannernick
Added - JiffyDos V6 - spannernick
Added - Mounted over the gamecontrollerdb.txt file to the one on the USB Stick to make it easier to add your own controller.
Added new script so that you could change the Carousel Gamelist Screen by using THEC64 Joystick, the script was called carousel gamelist switcher - Jeroen - JJ0.

Change name from PCU to PCUAE cause THEC64 Mini had been out for 2 years and PCUv1.2.0 was released on it's Anniversary, THEC64 Mini NTSC version 9 October 2019 - Project Carousel USB - Anniversary Edition(the AE part of the name was partly, at well, a nod to something else spannernick made 10 years ago called 3D Arcade 10th Anniversary Edition)
Added - Autoboot so PCU could boot from turning on the machine byifself and not using a fake update to start PCU.

Added - Shortcut keys to the keyboard to execute scripts to make PCUAE do different things, like change Carousel's, Reboot, Change to different Carousel Gamelist screen, the carousel gamelist switcher script was changed to the Carouser gamelist selector.
Added - TheCarousel's v1.0.5, - 1.3.2 and were added, 2 different versions of the Carousel were added and use shortcut keys CTRL - F1,F3, to change between them - Hacked versions, you can see 255 game slots - spannernick

Added - Carousel Gamelist Selector Screen(Carousel USB Chooser), you can now pick on the screen what screen you want to see, what Carousel Gamelist Screen you want to load up, and you can now add games easier to a folder in USB:\Carousel_Games\Games\ folder, you can use THEC64 Joystick to pick a screen and then highlight it and press Fire button to load up that Carousel Gamelist Screen. - spannernick

Mainly bug fixes... Fixed the Soundtrack script that was trying to umount the wav files while they were playing in the background, it was crashing TheCarousel in PCU, it can not do that while it playing or accessing the file at the time, you can only overmount the wav file to change it to another one, its fix now - spannernick
Split the PCU Options Menu into 2 pages, each page has 10 options on it, its to stop you have to go up and down so much with THEC64 Joystick, you can use the other buttons on THEC64 joystick to go to different numbers in the menu.
Added - THEC64 Mini Mode, you are able to load it with the shortcut Key CTRL - 8 or run it from the PCU Option Menu, page 2, you can run it in any machine. - spannernick
Optimized the boot time PCU takes to boot up with Autoboot enabled, it now takes 14 seconds for PCU to boot up from turning on the machine. - spannernick
Updated - The Game Information Slots for the 7 Carousel Gamelist Screens, info have been changed and updated for each Carousel Gamelist Screen, in the Standalone version and Carousel Gamelist Screen Favorites in the All In One version, there been made more generic so they can be used in any gamelist screens the user makes so you have C64 and VIC 20 games slot images now, 0 - G, H - R or S - Z has been removed from the images.
The Info Game Slots Images, Cover and Screenshots have been updated and now have the Commodore Chicken Head Logo and the 64 number from the original Manual to match the VIC-20 Logo Cover and Screenshots.
Removed the setup exe files(added zip files temporary) they were creating to much problems, I am still going for a setup like application exe file but will not be using Windows Installer, instead I'll be using Winrar, you can make SFX setups with it so no need to use MSi or Windows Installer Service and it can make shortcuts too for your Desktop and Start Menu - spannernick
Added - Command line shell for YAFT(Yet Another Framebuffer Terminal) to PCU Options Menu, Just in case anyone wants to use it, it is at option 1 page 1 in the menu. - spannernick
Sorted out CTRL-O so you can use it to kill Midnight Commander or use it just to reload TheCarousel to change the music, when TheCarousel is loaded and running, if you press CTRL-O the yellow box around the game cover will start to move right, thats cause the O key is part of the directional keys on the keyboard, but it still works, hold CTRL-O for 2 seconds and it will reload TheCarousel. - spannernick
The Soundtracks that change in the background, have now been changed so they change in the background every 30 seconds, 5 minutes was to long, I have tested it and no bugs with it so far all is working. - spannernick
V1.4.0 - Speeded up The Carousel Gamelist Selector Screen at loading Carousel Gamelist Screen by 6 to 7 seconds.
V1.4.1 - I have fixed the problem now with running PCU from a fake update and you can't see the files in File Loader and Media Access, they should work now, but if you run Autoboot you will not be able to see the files from the USB Stick in File Loader but can see them in Media Access, I have not worked out yet what's happening there at the moment but better then nothing..
V1.4.2 - Fix the bug completely now, you can see the files from the USB Stick from File Loader and Classic Mode(Media Access) in Autoboot Mode or from Fake Update Mode.
I figured, if its working in Fake Update Mode(running PCU from a Fake Update) then I should get Autoboot to boot it the same way so I got Autoboot to boot the start.sh script instead like how the fake Update boots PCU and now its working..
Added Matt Grey's original THEC64 Music wav file to the soundtracks and its now the first one you will hear, to change it after 30 seconds press CTRL-O or reload TheCarousel with one of the CTRL-F Keys.
V1.4.3 - Fixed the problem with the Pcu Options Menu not starting the first time, it working now.
RGL Splash Screen is back.. , so RGL Splash Screen(what its really doing is booting into the firmware first for 6 seconds so you see your built in Splash Screen for your model) then PCU Splash Screen, well you need to give RGL some credit... , and I think its cool.. , I like it, when you disable the splash screen in PCU Options Menu it will disable both of them so you just get a black screen at start up
and just after you see the RGL Splash Screen so between RGL and PCU Splash Screens you should if you want to start up the PCU Options Menu, its like a marker for it, the shortcut_key_selector.sh and button_selector.sh scripts start-up in the first script PCU runs first, autoboot_loop.sh script, it starts that script before Autostart.sh script, its where the Loop Device is, so you can see files in the File Loader and Classic Mode, it would not work without the Loop Device.(thanks jj0)
Fixed Midnight Commander, you could start it but could not exit out of it now you can, what you do is press CTRL-5 or Menu(4)-RFire Buttons on the joystick like you were going to start up PCU Options Menu but it will exit out of MC/PCU Options Menu and take you back to the Carousel, why it was doing it well it overmounts over the usr folder in the firmware so when I asked it to unmount usr and etc folders it did not know how to do it cause the command was not there so I copied the /usr/bin folder from the firmware to the bin folder MC uses so now it knows the command to unmount the folders.
