I have problem with TheC64 and Thevic20 memory expansion for Vic20. I have some demos at D64 format and games that require 3k, 8k, 16k and 32k at different folders as Tap format. Never got CJM files work. Would it be possible download CJM FILES for vic20 somewhere? I have D64 files from some YouTube that expand memory but when download something else memory drops back normal again. Please download this: drive.google.com/file/d/1_NqcGWEkueBfI9lEULxs-pMZo9ZgL2xs/view?usp=sharingIt's a directory structure for your USB drive which has some default CJM settings for common VIC-20 configurations for both PAL and NTSC games. Details of how the directory structure looks is detailed here: drive.google.com/file/d/1_NqcGWEkueBfI9lEULxs-pMZo9ZgL2xs/view?usp=sharingRegards, Shaun.

Hi everyone, I have a problem I buyed 4 months ago a c64 maxi used on internet.works perfectly everyday, but yesterday, I connect the hdmi in another TV, an old 32 LCD Samsung. The unit is on, red led light, but not signal video. I connect the c64 in the usual TV led 50",and same problem. I change with a new hdmi cable and a new power unit(same specs as original), but same result. The firmware is 1.4.2. Any suggestion for repair the unit? Is dead? Thanks

Hi I'm New please can you tell me how to save a basic program to a usb on retro c64 ? You cannot do it directly. you need to save your program to a virtual D64 disk save"my program",8 This will save in the .d64 file in the directory on the USB You will need a program on the pc like vd64 editor to access the D64 file if you want to access the basic program or you can just use the d64 in Vice on PC.

I was wondering if THEVIC20 will have a different tune on the Carousel..? No, for licencing reasons the Carousel tune is the same across all models of THEC64. Regards, Shaun.

Thank you to all for your work and support on The C64. I have been on this site virtually none because of a problem in the house I'm in, but they're going now so let the good times roll, (so much fun with The C64 to be had).
As this is for more general questions it's a good place to ask. I was wondering would the following be possible:
1. This maybe a very stupid question as I didn't have a floppy drive when I had my Commodore so there was no disk swapping, but seeing as there is a hard drive that works with it, would it be possible to have one to eliminate disk swapping, you could maybe dedicate a few megabytes on your USB Key to it?
2. Does anyone use blank disks for 'saved games' instead of/as well as the 'save game' slots on TheC64's hardware itself, and do they find it works well?
3. Could there be a future iteration for online for 2 player?
Thank you, be safe everybody.
