Hello, Is there any way to make joystick Logitech Attack 3 work with C64 Maxi? Best would be a simple way, ofc or some good instruction if any solution exists. Thanks in advance for any help!

Not 100% simple but should be doable. Also, my original post on (a.o.) this on the official RGL forum (that they coincidentally closed a couple of days later) is preserved here and here.

Thank you for your response but I am afraid I won't make it work Bought the C64 for my mom which used to play some of those old games in her younger times. Sadly she has problems with using the original joystick, she is not used to it. Snes gamepads are not a good alternative for such games like Boulder Dash, where moving down + right/left requires a good reflex, which those gamepads do not have Are there maybe any good (and working!) alternatives to the original joystick?

If you can run the SDL2 Gamepad Tool and report back the text and also the 'Gamepad GUID' (long string of numbers) we might be able to help adding it.
