I'm starting to feel that some users might want to make edits and additions in the wiki. Just pondering what to do about this. Right now, I'm a bit timid to open up access to the wiki, as it's hosted on my server-space. But I'm open to moving the wiki onto one of the free wiki-hosting sites, then giving open access and just have a few of us here to moderate it. Not sure when I'll get the time to do this, but if someone has the motivation to make it happen, you're welcome to. Till then, just ping me if you want something added, and I will credit you, and reference that the insight/knowledge came from you. I'm just about to do as such for Tom, he shared some insights, will add now

Just pondering what to do about this. Is the content in a form that can be put into GitHub? You could put together a script to export into the site and then accept pull requests for content. That way, people can contribute and you maintain full control.

Right now it's a dokuwiki. GitHub's wikitags can be subtly different, not that I mind re-jigging things if needed.
Well, I'll be open to it, but I'll also keep open the option of another wiki where users can edit directly. I suppose it works for wikipedia that way, a completely open system, so maybe it could work for us too...
