Just thought you guys would get a laugh (or a cringe) out of this. I've had my C64 Maxi proudly on display in a side room, of course with the dust cover it came with on it, and in fact was just thinking I should cover the whole thing with a towel so I don't get dust on even the plastic dust cover. Lol. I've also carefully put the box and packaging inside another box to protect it.
Anyway, so the other day my niece comes over, walks in the room, and promptly throws her big heavy phone into the air to land on top of the dust cover, putting what looks like a nice scratch on the dust cover. Promptly chewed her out about it being a collectors item and where does she get off throwing her phone down on stuff like that. Needless to say I've now put a big heavy towel over it like I should have done in the first place. I was speechless when it happened. Almost couldn't get the words out of my mouth. I never was one to care about fancy collections but this is MY priceless art! Lol

I thought it was a good idea cause its cheap and protects it and you can see the computer through it..
