A600 would keep the cost down as there's alot of plastic in the a500 a1200 doing nothing under the hud lol

I owned an A1200 back in the day, and loved it. In fact, for about 10 years it was my main computer. It was far more than a games machine to me.
However, despite that, I actually prefer the other two case designs.
I like the A600's case for its compact dimensions. But I think the A500 is the nicest looking of the three computers, and for me it represents the Amiga's heyday. So I've chosen the A500's case.
I just hope that RGL doesn't cheap out on the keyboard this time. That's the one thing that can't easily be fixed. If the keyboard uses mechanical switches and doubleshot keycaps, then I'll forgive any other flaws the product might have.

A600 for the compact size. I only had A500, so I have nostalgic feelings towards it, but the damn thing is way too big for my table.

I've got one request; please add a headphone socket, my display doesn't have speakers and I can't justify myself buying a new one just for this (my TV is occupied with my kid and better half).

A600 - As its small and compact. I had a 500 and still have my 1200, as its emulated, the 600 would be the preferred case option for me.

A1200 but must be in full size and emulate other Amigas. Make consoles mini have sense but make computers mini dont have! We wait in Poland for full sized A1200 or A500! U can make Console mini CD32 but remember Computers always must be in full size!!!!!!!!!!

I would like the Amiga 500 because it’s what I owned when I was young, many moons ago.

I really like the small form factor of the A600. The actual Amiga that is emulated can be any model. Oh, and I want a battery compartment. I hate all those wires and PSU's. I run my The C64 from a USB powerbank, which is weird because 90% of The C64 is empty.

The A500 is the obvious choice IMO. It is the most iconic, well known and revolutionary model. I think a lot of people wouldn't recognize the other models. And the A600 didn't sell well at all, the only advantage of it is how compact it is.
Of course it should be able to run AGA games as well.

I thought about it some more and changed my vote to A500 - this was the real starting point.
I do like the compactness of the A600 and A1200 though ;-)
As it will be an emulator the A500 cased system can possibly run the later models anyway.

A500 was definitely the most popular. Mine came with Tetris and Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego. I got some fond memories on that computer. Looking forward to the Amiga Maxi. No need for a mini.

As long as it is a high end AGA Amiga in performance the case being a 500/1200 etc isn't that critical to me. I would also debut the Maxi first and worry about a mini later if at all. The mini just served to raise the question of when a full size one will arrive.
I would also love to see some focus on BBS and internet access, maybe some expansion modules to deck it out with working ports (as a USB dongle perhaps?). These maxi units are something that has been anticipated and hoped for over decades now, why cheap out now that the moment has arrived? I will happily pay more for quality and functionality.

I owned a C64 and then a 500 but I'd LOVE to see a replica of the Amiga 1000. Reason being then you could stick your tv or monitor on top of it and tuck the keyboard under the case when not in use. I know it's wishful thinking but a 128D would also be killer for this reason. It'd be nice to at least see somebody making empty cases for both so we could throw the Maxi or future Amiga board into it. The plus side of that is then you'd now have an empty maxi or amiga case you removed it from to then stick a Pi into. A Mega C65 case or C16 black case would also be cool. Possibilities are endless.

If they make a full size replica of the Amiga next it should be A1200 not A500, why it too big it the same width as THEC64 and about 5 inches bigger in depth than a C64, the A1200 is about the same size as a C64 and would cost less to make, less plastic to use, but they might do the A500 cause the A500 Mini is already made so just have to make it the right scale on the PC, well they make a model of it first before making it, thats including all the keys on the keyboard too, modelled one by one, you see the model on the box, the box it made before the machine so they can put it up on pre-order, then they know how many is needed to be made.

the A1200 is about the same size as a C64 and would cost less to make, less plastic to use You mean: with the numpad omitted? Otherwise, an Amiga 1200 is 3" wider than a C64C, which in itself is slightly wider than a breadbox C64. BTW. I wonder if people would accept if they shrunk the size even more, reducing the box at the back and reducing the keyboard's inclination.

I've never owned an Amiga from back in the day, but I feel like, if they're going to remake this stuff, just make the normal version rather than a mini version. I got the C64 Mini thinking, okay I guess that's it, until I stumbled upon the C64 Maxi and got rid of the Mini. If I'd known there was a full keyboard sized C64, I would have got that before the Mini. I hope they do it with the Amiga because there is the Prevue Guide stuff I'd love to be able to get running on it.
