I've searched for something on this forum about this but didn't find anything so here I am registered so I can see if I can figure out what I am doing wrong.
For my 14g memory stick. After saving something I am writing about 30 times with a unique name I ran into it not saving and verifying new names. I'm guessing (and probably wrong) that there is a limit to the number of unique saves you can make. I'm sort of stuck now and afraid of losing what I have been working on. I can save the state but that has it's own risks if you don't hit the right button and accidently load a state and not save it. There is no overwrite warning for it. Looking at it with $ directory it shows a list of saves growing in size until my last 2 save attempts showing up at size "2". I would delete some of them but I don't see how as scratch is not a command (and doesn't work) nor is there a delete function. I've backed up the virtual file to my pc just to try and not lose what I've spent a few days writing.
Does anyone understand how this virtual file works and do you know if there is some kind of limit to the number of files you can save to it? I've only used 872k of a 14 gig stick formatted in fat32.
