How do you let mount a d64/d81/d82-image from a USB-stick in BASIC-mode without automatic running?

Normal behaviour of "normal" disks (images at Mini) at classic C64 as in Mini is that disks are not automatically running. Only specially formatted disks made "autorun", only when you try to list directory (iirc). However: This is what you are probably searching for: thec64.com/loading-other-programs/

BASIC and accessing a USB memory stick
Please note that the only file stored on a USB stick that can be loaded directly when running BASIC on THEC64 Mini is a disk image with the filename THEC64-drive8.d64. Please visit thec64.com/basic and thec64.com/faq for further details on BASIC and THEC64-drive8.d64 file. |
See: thec64.com/file-loader/Can i mount other image disk than THEC64-drive8.d64 in BASIC mode?
