The A500 does not have a shut down screen so does not shut down properly sometimes... it needs one, sometimes you do not remember to hold the power button for 2 seconds, you hold it longer then it restarts, if you press the power button once the screen goes black, I can not see anything in the manual about that, is this a bug or is it meant to do that so like its on standby, why would you need it on standby...?
Why would you need it on standby and a black screen, its just wasting electric, it not really standby its just the screen has blacked out thinking it shutting down when its not so you could think it off when its on, if the power light is in Amiga 500 real mode so it acts like it does on a real Amiga 500 so the power led is off, you will not know if the machine is off or on, I have turn the Real Led off cause of this problem.

I also noticed problems with shutting down, mainly when using things from a flash drive (games, workbench like aminimiga), with firmware 1.0 there were no such problems, maybe update 1.1.1 contributed to this.
