I think people are being to hard on the Joystick and thinking its a Zipsick when its not and not made the same, people are pushing the stick too far and the screw is snapping or is being unscrewed somehow and then the stick comes out, it's the screw that keep the stick in because it has 2 parts.
Do's and Don'ts ------------------ 1. DO NOT let your kids use this joystick, its for adults only. I will not let my 6 year old grandson use it, I let him use a gamepad,he finds them easier to use anyway, he uses my Xbox 360 controller when he is playing Batman on my PC so you can use that if you have one, it should work and will not break if he is rough with it or drops it(you know what kids are like, well we all were one at one time, that why we like the C64.. ).
2. Be gentle with its stick,if you treat it like you old one then it will break,it's not a Zipstick or Competition Pro,its made differently and made cheaper so will break if you not gentle with it.
3. Be as gentle as you would with your Gear Stick in your car..
4. DO NOT bang or push hard the 2 fire buttons at the front of THEC64 MS Joystick because they could get stuck and stop working.
MRK2 still has faults in its design, It looks like it was not tested properly before it was released, like MRK1, well it's from China, they don't check there items properly anyway. how the hell it got a CE mark on it.
(CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area. The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA.)
Some new Pictures.. I took the stick apart.. another 15 photos.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sdx2: Sound issues in Uridium, but not in the carousel main menu. Got any idea on why? Tried PAL/NTSC and 50/60Hz, always same result: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBydccoO-08

Jet Set Willy: My Xbox 360 or Xbox One wired PC controllers don't work with TheC64 Maxi, only Logitech Rumblepad 2 works. I wonder if this will be fixed in firmware updates?

I'm Don . Having game troubles: I'm trying to play games in classic mode. I'm using dirmaster to load these games to a USB stick. Some play but others no joystick operation. Also , how do I change games that are in a weird graphics character mode, i.e. Manic Mansion and others?

Frank C64: Hi. I have another suggestion for a firmware update: Support for all four disk drives. Since it is already in VICE it should be a no-brainer to add. I would love that feature, as it would make it soooo much easier to work with my old Pascal 64 compiler.

pantera: Found the solution for getting Mindshadow two disk version to work, _ad needs to be put on the end of the filename and fast loading needs to be turned off. ie. MNDSHDW1_ad.D64 and MNDSHDW2_ad.D64

pantera: Has anyone managed to get Mindshadow to run properly on TheC64 Maxi ? The single file version works, up to the point where you get off the island, then crashes. The two disk version will not load. The two disk version loads fine on CCS64
