It is not mentioned before, so I'll do it: The PC Classic™ mini console is coming with 30 (?) old-school DOS games preinstalled. It should come this year (they’re hoping for a Spring/Summer 2019 release). Honest review here: www.thegamer.com/pc-classic-mini-console-is-coming/Unit-e Technologies site here: "Unit-e introduces the PC Classic™, an adorable PC game console for your TV." unitetechno.com/dt_catalog/pc-classic/^ you can sign up for the mailing list if you’d like to see a game list when it’s available, or apply to be an influencer - to get a PC Classic for review.

If it had X-Wing and Tie Fighter on it, I'd really be interested.

Yep, I've got original double package of it, and even bought it again, later, same plus expanded missions etc, at Humble Bundle + Steam (non-physical edition). It is not playable at modern hardware unfortunately afaik.
Mini PC could be fun.

It's an odd one to be sure. Being just a generic "pc" is probably the biggest thing going against it. Most people can easily manage a cheap pc and an account with GOG or similar and achieve a better result. I'd like to see them base a mini of something similar to the c64, you know, like a Spectrum or similar. Something that has the same sort of brand connection for people.

Look at the second video, "questions and answers" part. Guy explained why and why not; what is it supposed to be and what's not. It has sense imo.
