As soon as I get around to it, I will begin posting USB File Loader versions of games with their CJM files for this exact issue. Good video!

That's a great idea and would be really handy , this port 1 issue is the most common question people message me about on my YouTube channel hence the video

I still think the easiest fix for a port 1 game is to connect two controllers. Even if the 2nd one is a cheap one from ebay.

I still think the easiest fix for a port 1 game is to connect two controllers. Even if the 2nd one is a cheap one from ebay. Exactly. Multiplayers / co-op games are more fun. Most of it require 2nd controller. bastichb64k : it is fun to be VeeJay, having your chanell is great fun, business etc... but: giving half-information is rather worse then giving none. - The easiest way of solving "port 1" issue (beside having 2nd controller) is to find games that are already hacked to port 2.
Vinny of Freeze64 already made disk image collection full of notable ones (21 games), months ago:
Joystick 2 hacks.d64 +----------------------+ 0 "hackersoft js2 " 2c 41 "fibr" prg 120 "big mac" prg 202 "bruce lee" prg 149 "bubble bobble" prg 98 "falcon patrol 2" prg 143 "flip and flop" prg 73 "galaxy" prg 173 "ghostbusters" prg 159 "gyruss" prg 165 "head o^er heels" prg 122 "hero" prg 170 "hunter patrol" prg 64 "lemans" prg 72 "pitfall" prg 58 "pitfall2" prg 111 "pitstop" prg 38 "rabbit pie" prg 127 "return of jedi" prg 33 "robin to rescue" prg 75 "stix" prg 164 "toy bizarre" prg 105 "zorro" prg 1671 blocks free.

"port 1 only" games are minority, most of it are already hacked to port 2.
- For some, it could be much more convenient to use online CJM Configuration File Tool:
www.thec64minizone.com/cjm-configuration-file-tool/ Especially when you have to change some other thing, e.g. assign "F1" to right fire button (e.g. Ghostbusters from your video needs F1 iirc)
- But if happened that you don't have internet connection, there is a standalone utility doing same thing:
CJM Configurator for Windows aka C64MiniLoaderCFG drive.google.com/drive/folders/1G58teTaXt-6WuYjYW-5qAm67sJEFxA-9 thec64community.online/thread/179/cjm-configurator-windows
(of course, you can make/edit your own .cjm file at Notepad, it is pure text-file)
One thing to be noted here: "_" in filenames should be avoided if it is not intended to change behavior of Mini. It is control flag, so it could confuse Mini sometimes. Example: "Falcon-Patrol.prg" instead "Falcon_Patrol.prg" is recommended.
