Oh right so they got Linux on THEC64 Mini to think its a gamepad, cleaver that means all of the ones that don't work (like the USBJoy)just needs to change its firmware so it has a different VID/PID and make it thinks is a USB gamepad so Linux recognizes it on THEC64 Mini. These Adapters are like the USBJoy they are HID compatible too.Only difference, it has a cable.USBJoy don't.

Does anyone know of a retailer online in the US that sells a compatible joy adaptor?

If you know how to do basic soldering the best way to go about using Atari plug compatible joysticks is just to buy a second mini or maxi joystick and then solder an Atari plug's pins to the contacts inside the mini or maxi joystick. Then just cut or melt a hole in the side of the mini/maxi joystick to either mount the Atari plug or run a cable out to a plug. Now you can plug any Atari compatible joystick into it and still use the mini/maxi joystick as normal and it's navigation buttons to get to the game you want and then use the Atari compatible joystick for actual gameplay. It's far cheaper and less work to just buy and modify a mini/maxi joystick. I have the ICode adapter and it won't work and I haven't gotten around to updating it's firmware or modifying the mini game controller config file to try to make it work. I'll probably modify the mini controller with an Atari plug input before I even bother trying to get the Icode working.
